Depending on your company’s purchase categories, the World of Hyatt Business Credit Card may not be the best way to earn World of Hyatt Points as Chase Ultimate Rewards may be transferred at a 1:1 ratio to World of Hyatt. But for some, the World of Hyatt Card might still be the best choice for included perks, like the ability to spend to earn status.
Awards: 4 points per dollar at Hyatt hotels, 2 points per dollar spent on a cardholder’s top three spending categories quarterly through 12/31/22, then top two categories quarterly, 2 points per dollar spent on fitness club and gym memberships and 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases
Welcome offer: 75,000 bonus points after spending $7,500 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening
Annual fees: $199
Other advantages and disadvantages: Businesses spending $50,000 or more on the World of Hyatt Business card in a calendar year will receive 10% of points redeemed as bonus points for the remainder of the calendar year, up to 20,000 points per year . All cardholders can also earn a $50 statement credit, up to twice per anniversary year (for a total of $100), when you spend $50 or more at any Hyatt property.
The card offers a few additional benefits, including automatic World of Hyatt Discoverist status and cardholders can receive five tier qualifying nights for every $10,000 spent on the card in a calendar year. The card offers employee cards at no additional cost, certain travel protections and does not charge foreign transaction fees.
